Nissan and DC Shoes are proud to announce the beginning of a partnership as both brands look to recruit new fans through the creation of innovative co-branded content.

To initiate this collaboration, Nissan and DC have joined forces to create a video clip: ‘The Headlight Sessions’, which skate and car fans can watch here:

Nissan in association with DC Shoes presents: The Headlight Sessions.

This consists of original night session footage captured like no other, giving you an insight into the world of some of the best street skaters on the planet.

2014 Thrasher Skater of the Year Wes Kremer, Matt Miller, Madars Apse, Joseph Scott, Anthony Lopez and the new Juke NISMO RS hit the streets of Barcelona to shine a light on some of Europe’s most iconic skate spots - using one of the car’s trademark features - giving the skaters’ license to perform their full range of skills.

This clip, produced by Nissan, was directed by DC’s highly regarded skateboard filmmaker Chris Ray.

“It’s an exceptional video, we couldn’t have hoped for a better outcome. It’s the best combination of pure skate action I’ve seen mixed with outside influences. We’ve pulled off something that seems to be impossible for everyone else in the non-skate world,” said Chris Ray.

“We are delighted to be partnering with DC Shoes and working with some of their amazing skaters,” said Bastien Schupp, Nissan Europe’s marketing vice president.

“Combining the core urban roots of Juke NISMO RS and the skaters has created a compelling video and showcases the car’s dynamic, sporty crossover design DNA and enhanced engine power in a powerful way.”

“We really enjoyed working with Nissan on this and we are stoked on how the video came out. The Juke NISMO RS is packed with features that fit a young, active lifestyle and DC and Nissan’s creative teams did a tremendous job telling that story in an authentic way.” commented Jeff Taylor, SVP of Global Brand & Marketing for DC Shoes.
