NISSAN ADDS MORE EXCITEMENT TO CRICKET BY PARTNERING WITH ICC
We’re all geared up for cricket madness
It’s in the suspense of a coin flipping through the air. It’s in the fast bowling, furious batting, far-flung wickets and the fielders who boldly defy gravity. It’s in the Mexican waves that rip through the crowds of proud flags and painted faces. It’s in the intense rivalry that seemingly rises from the pitch and the fans who match the cries for umpires to deliver justice.
This is excitement. This is ICC cricket, and now Nissan will be there to pump up the pace having been confirmed as a proud sponsor and official partner to the ICC and its associated world-famous tournaments, including the ICC T20 and Cricket World Cup.
But the thrills don’t end there. We also welcome aboard two cricket movers and shakers who will bring Nissan’s unique brand of excitement to every riveting ICC game as Nissan’s ‘Chosen Ones’ and brand ambassadors.
KAGISO RABADA AND DALE STEYN ANNOUNCED AS
Nissan has named legendary fast bowler Dale Steyn and rising star Kagiso Rabada as brand ambassadors to further add to the company’s global sponsorship deal with the International Cricket Council (ICC).
Dale Steyn and Kagiso Rabada have officially been announced as our new brand ambassadors. Check out the gallery below or read the full press release for more info!
KAGISO RABADA AND DALE STEYN
Hailing from the small town of Phalaborwa comes the lightning fast
bowler, Dale Steyn, whose cricket dreams started at the tender age of 11
with a cricket set bestowed upon him at Christmas. Bowling at record
breaking speeds, Steyn firmly solidifies himself as one of the best
bowlers of his generation. Combining a formidable skill set of
precision, performance and power proves exactly why he’s been selected
as a Nissan ICC ambassador.
Johannesburg born, fresh faced Kagiso Rabada proves that age is nothing
but a number by holding two records already at the young age of just 20
years old, firmly positioning the wicket-taking sensation as a force to
be reckoned with. Being the youngest South African cricketer to take 10
wickets in a single test match, Rabada boldly certifies he has the
potential and power to go the distance, proving exactly how he’s made it
into Nissan’s inner ICC circle.
